In FL33T, anyone can step up and run a fleet. EVE Online is a vast and beautiful game, and we believe in empowering players to create content for others without unnecessary barriers.
The easiest way to get started is by pinging in #casual-pings, using @here or @everyone to rally some fellow nerds and go blow up spaceships.
That said, Minmatar Fleet Alliance offers a structured path for pilots who want to take on more responsibility as fleet commanders. This document outlines the progression to Fleet Commander (FC) and how to advance within the alliance.
There are three types of fleet commanders in our alliance.
This isn’t a rigid ladder—a Warzone FC doesn’t have to become a Skirmish FC, and a Skirmish FC doesn’t have to progress to Strategic FC. Most pilots will enjoy the low-pressure fun of factional warfare fleets, while only a select few will take on the responsibility of safeguarding our most valuable assets.
In our mind, there should be a low barrier of entry for becoming a fleet commander in our alliance. Staying a fleet commander will take a little bit of effort, though.
EVE Online needs more content creators, and if you are consistently running fleets our existing team will do everything in its power to ensure you succeed.
